HOW IT WORKS

    Marketing:

Mehdi Shipping (also referred to as an Agent Company) through it's Marketing Department, sends  business proposals to prospective Principals abroad or meet the prospective Principals personally  and discuss the terms and conditions as stipulated in the compilation of documents inside the  brochure. Should the Principal agree to the propositions stipulated in the business proposal, a  Special Power of Attorney and a Mehdi Shipping  Agreement will be signed to close the transaction.

Accreditation of Principal and Enrollment of Vessel:

The following documents will be submitted by the Agent Company:

    1) Authenticated Special Power of Attorney

    2) Authenticated Mehdi Shipping  Agreement

    3) Job Order/Crew Request with breakdown of agreed Salary Scales

    4) Vessel Specification

    5) A copy of Principal's Company Registration or License Certificate

If the vessel/s assigned to the Agent Company was already or previously assigned to another agency  in India, a Letter of No Objection is needed from the local agency so that the new agency can use  the vessel's name and deploy seafarers for the available positions. It is highly recommended that a Job Order/Crew Request be given three weeks in advance to enable  the agency to have enough time to prepare the needed crew. This allotted time will provide the agency to select the most qualified crew and also the time needed for documentation. In case of emergency 5 days notice will also do.

The Vessel Specification will reflect the name of the vessel and other pertinent data and could be seen as follows:

    a) Name of vessel
